Biography
Fatma Mizikaci is a Professor of
Curriculum and Instruction at the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Ankara
University in Turkey. She is the author of the books Higher Education in Turkey
(2006) and Total Quality Management in Higher Education (2009). She recently
co-edited Critical Pedagogy and the Covid-19 Pandemic: Keeping Communities
Together in Times of Crisis (Bloomsbury 2022) A Language of Freedom and
Teacher’s Authority: Case Comparisons from Turkey and the United States
(Lexington, 2017) and From Here to There: Mileposts of European Higher
Education (Navreme, 2007). her recent co-edited book with Prof. Fatma Bıkmaz
published by Cambridge Scholars is entitled Curriculum, Teachers &
Technology: A Turkish Context. Her academic positions are as follows:
