Prof. ERCÜMENT GENÇ

E. Genç is a full-time professor at Ankara University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture Engineering. He has been working as a committee member in the National Committee for the Registration of Aquatic Genetic Resources since 26.12.2014. He has been a Member of the Agricultural and Food Ethics Association since 2016 and a Member of the Honorary Board since 2022. Since 2018, he has been a Member of the Research R&D Projects Advisory Board of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies. E. Genç; He has been working on fish, mollusc and crustacean breeding, fish diseases and histopathology since 2000. Since 2011, he has evaluated microbiota profiles, digestion, growth and immunity analyses using molecular techniques. He works on responsible aquaculture techniques. Since 2018, he has been participating in projects on biofloc technology, using fermented products in feed, feed additives, polyhydroxy butyrate, Antimicrobial Peptides and fish breeding. He is a referee and subject editor in international and national peer-reviewed journals.
