The concept of cohesion is a term that is introduced by Halliday and Rukayya Hassan. Cohesion, one of the most important subjects of text linguistics, involves the relations among the small linguistic units in the text. The normative sentences are the most important bearing of the structure. In the article, the elements of language which provide the text integrity in the context of text linguistics and semantic relations are discussed. Despite being new as a text linguistics nomenclature, it is pointed out that in Arabic sources there is information that emphasizes the basic principles of this field. In particular, it is emphasized that the views put forth in the framework of the Qur'anic unity overlap with the principles of cohesion. In the study, elements of cohesion in Arabic were listed and tried to be explained with examples.
