A case of rhinosporidium seeberi in a 12-year-old girl of Sivas, Turkey, was studied by us. The growth was clinically diagnosed as a polyp. A histopathologic examination, however, revealed it to be rhinosporidiosis. This case is the first of its kind reported in Turkey. Bone destruction, considered common to fungus diseases, could not be found in the cases so far reported in the literature. Our case, however, was characterized by such a destruction. © 1955, SAGE Publications. All rights reserved.
