Özet

In the title compound, C11H12ClNO2, there is an intramolecular hydrogen bond between the amino group and the carbonyl O atom [N⋯O 2.686 (3) Å]. Additional intermolecular hydrogen bonds between the phenol O atom and the carbonyl groups of neighbouring molecules [O⋯O 2.634 (2) Å] form a polymeric chain. The molecule is not planar. The dihedral angle between the aromatic ring and the bidentate Schiff base moiety is 44.51 (7)°. The characteristic Schiff base N - C bond length is 1.339 (3) Å.
