In this regard, the study designed as a survey model and the scale is implemented with the participation of 1355 teachers who assigned to the state schools of the Ministry of National Education in Turkey in which Fatih Project is implemented. As well as conducting descriptive statistics on the collected data via the information security awareness scale for teachers, and personal information form created by the researcher; also differences observed between the groups to be compared are examined in terms of being statistically significant. It has been seen that teachers’ awareness in information security varies according to the fact that teacher works in a Fatih Project implemented school, and also these teachers have a higher level of information security awareness compared to the other teachers who work in a school where Fatih Project is not implemented. On the other hand, it was found out that teachers’ information security awareness was higher in male teachers when it was taken to consideration in terms of gender, that was also higher in ICT teachers in terms of branches. When teachers’ information security awareness level is examined based on their ages, it has been indicated that there is a decrease in the level of information security awareness as the age is in advance. The assessment based on the school type where teachers are assigned has shown that the teachers working in secondary schools have a higher level of awareness in information security compared to the teachers who work in other schools. When teachers are assessed based on their previous trainings on the information security, it has been shown that teachers who had previous trainings have higher levels of awareness, regardless that Fatih Project is implemented in their schools or not.
