Özet

In this study, a search for singly produced vector-like B quarks decaying through the Wt channel in single lepton final states using proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV was performed. Signal events were generated for a coupling value of 0.5 in the mass range 1000-2000 GeV and then scaled to different values of the coupling. After applying the event selection criteria and defining the analysis regions, a statistical analysis was performed. As a result of the blind analysis, the upper exclusion limits on the B quark mass were determined to be 1610 GeV and 1760 GeV for integrated luminosities of 36.1 fb and 139 fb for coupling 0.5, respectively. For a width-to-mass ratio (Γ/m) of 0.3, the corresponding exclusion limits are 1710 GeV and 1800 GeV. These limits can be reinterpreted in the context of other vector-like quark representations and extended to alternative scenarios within the same theoretical framework.
