Özet

In this study, a multi-band coaxially fed slotted patch antenna is numerically analyzed, optimized and the obtained results are discussed. The proposed antenna has dimensions of 37 x 32 x 1.524 mm3 and utilizes Isola I-Tera MT40 as the substrate, which has a relative permittivity of 3.45 and a loss tangent of 0.0031. The antenna features L-shaped slots on the patch plane and rectangular ring-shaped slots on the ground plane. The optimization results indicate that the antenna operates efficiently with the magnitude of reflection coefficient better than -15 dB in the 2-12 GHz frequency range, making it suitable for applications in the S, C, and X bands. Additionally, the antenna exhibits a frequency-dependent radiation pattern, being either bi-directional or omnidirectional depending on the operating frequency. The E-plane gain values vary between 2.58 and 5.09 dBi. The average total antenna efficiency is found to be 90.42%.
