Özet

We investigate the combined effect of both homogeneous and tilted magnetic fields on the energy spectrum of gapped graphene cones together with long range Coulomb impurity in the framework of perturbation theory. The results illustrate that the tilted magnetic field can significantly affect the spectrum of single particle low-energy effective Hamiltonian, besides lifting the degeneracy of angular momentum channels in the presence of topological defects. The breaking of the electron-hole symmetry by magnetic fields is explained as a direct consequence of sub band Landau-level coupling. (C) 2015 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
