Özet

Elderly Non Invasive Mechanical Ventilation Applications

In recent studies, age alone has not been shown as a factor affecting the success of non-invasive mechanical ventilation. Comorbidities that accompany the elderly patient group are the main factor of treatment success. Avoiding invasive methods reduces mortality in the frail patient group. In addition, NIV provides effective results in relieving dyspnea symptom and in patients with do not intubate order.
