Özet

A 48-year-old otherwise healthy woman who presented with metamorphopsia in her right eye was diagnosed with idiopathic juxtafoveal retinal telangiectasis (IJRT) after complete ophthalmologic examination, fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) with Heidelberg Retinal Angiography (2) fundus autofluorescence findings and cross sectional view of the macula with spectral optical coherence tomography (OCT). Choroidal nevascularization due to IJRT was diagnosed during the follow-up. The patient underwent 3 times intravitreal ranibizumab injection monthly. In this case report we studied the importance of different imaging techniques for macular evaluation in treatment and prognosis of choroidal neovascularization due to group 2A idiopathic juxtafoveal retinal telangiectasis.
