Abstract

Background Previous studies in adults and case reports in children have shown increased frequency of hypothalamopituitary dysfunction after infectious diseases of the central nervous system. The aim of this study was to evaluate the function of hypothalamo-pituitary axis in children with a history of bacterial meningitis.
