Özet

This study includes a translation of the report which was sent to the Ministry of Social-Education and Health Works (Minister der Geistlichen, Unterrichts und Medizinalangelegenheiten) by scholarschip scientist Gustav Jahn who had been in Istanbul between July-September 1875 and made researches about work of Ibn-i Ja'is named Serh-i Mufassal-t Zemahseri in some foundation libraries. In this report orientalist Gustav Jahn informed the Ministry with remakable notes about the libraries in Istanbul and mentioned research and library enter permission process. This report clarifies important information related to library sevices and general situations of libraries in Istanbul in XIXth century.
