Tachycardia cardiomyopathy that is caused by chronic tacyarrhytmia leading to systolic and diastolic dysfunction has been demonstrated in both animal models and humans. Rate control or restoring sinusal rhythm typically improves left ventricular function. We present a patient with tachycardia cardiomyopathy, due to atrial fibrillation, treated in our clinic.
