© Cumhuriyet University.This year, Sanliurfa hosted an important event on the science of tafsir (XVI. Tafsir Coordination Meeting). On this occasion a symposium (Ibrahim and prophethood) was held, the problems of the tafsir were discussed and tafsir academics met among themselves and exchanged information. In this article, XVI. Tafsir Coordination Meeting was widely introdu-ced, and different meetings related to science of tafsir and tafsir education were mentioned.
