Özet

© 2022 IEEE.Numerous studies have shown that the respiratory system is affected by various changes that occur in the human body. These changes include immunological, physiological, and anatomical changes and they may occur either due to the diseases or simply aging. It is quite challenging to make a quick decision on respiratory dysfunction because the changes caused by aging can easily be confused with changes caused by pulmonary diseases as they both affect the respiratory system in similar ways. The aim of this study is to use force sensitive resistor and microcontroller to detect key points in the pulmonary ventilation cycle. The findings of this study will help in the real-time evaluation and monitoring the pulmonary ventilation by providing real-time data. Additionally, patients under monitoring will have the freedom to move while keeping an eye on them.
