Meeting on Spectroscopically and Spatially Resolving the Components of Close Binary Stars, Dubrovnik, Hırvatistan, 20 - 24 Ekim 2003, cilt.318, ss.192-194
Photoelectric U, B, and V light curves of the recently discovered eclipsing binary V776 Cas were analyzed to determine the preliminary physical parameters of the system by using the Djurasevic's (1992a) inverse-problem method. The light curves which have an amplitude of about 0(.)(m) 15 were obtained at the TUBiTAK National Observatory (TUG) between 8 and 9 October 2002. The analysis yields an A-type contact binary as a high overcontact configuration. Due to the proximity of its visual companion the light curves were contaminated by the third-light effect which has a relatively small influence on the estimation of the system parameters.
