Özet

Four new pinguisane derivatives, namely porellacetals A-D (1-4), alongside with two known compounds, phytol (5) and stigmasterol (6), were isolated from an ether extract of Porella cordaeana, guided by cytotoxicity assays against MCF-7, a human breast cancer cell line, and HT-29, a human colorectal cancer cell line. The structures of the isolated compounds were elucidated with the aid of spectroscopic means (UV, IR, NMR, mass spectrometry). The isolated compounds exhibited weak cytotoxic activities against the two aforementioned cancer cell lines. (C) 2016 Phytochemical Society of Europe. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
