Özet
Radomes are single or multilayer dielectric structures designed to protect antenna systems without negatively affecting their electromagnetic performance. Radar Absorbing Materials (RAMs) are structures made to not to reflect radar waves. Accurate characterization and precise electromagnetic design is critical for successful implementation of radome and RAM. Conventional full-wave solvers provide high-fidelity results but require a substantial amount of computational resources. This paper presents a performant radome analysis tool based on the Transfer Matrix Method (TMM) implemented in C++. The proposed approach models the structure analytically thus reducing complexity. The software supports frequency sweeps, multiple incident angles and both TE and TM polarizations yielding same results for homogeneous radome and RAM structures as commercial software by also reduces time-complexity from order of minutes to order of a few milliseconds. By providing integrated tuning capabilities, the proposed software simplifies the design process of radomes and RAMs.
