Abstract

© 2019 Author(s).On the 60th anniversary year of Aharonov-Bohm's seminal discovery, the past and ongoing theoretical and experimental studies firmly illustrated the profound importance of their topological phase for almost all branches of the physics. In this short study, it is aimed to examine the AB type effects from a holistic perspective and derive the dual of the scalar AB effect for a magnetic monopole passing through a cylindrical magnetic conductor.
