Viral hepatitis cases have been classified as hepatitis A, B, C, D and E. But, viral hepatitis constitute a big health problem all around the world and some of the cases could not be classified with these five hepatitis types and other non-viral or infectious agents. This suggests that there would be some other types of hepatitis viruses. Since then, hepatitis F and G viruses have been identified. We rewieved the current knowledge of characteristics, transmission routes, epidemiology, clinical features, diagnosis and treatment of these new viruses in this paper.
