Özet

In this study, the prevalence of infectious bovine rhinotracheitis and infectious pustular vulvovaginitis (IBR/IPV) in dairy cows with reproductive problems was assessed utilizing the micro-neutralization test in 4 different farms. A total of 218 dairy cows were examined Forty - eight (22%) of which were seropositive against IBR/IPV and, different reproductive problems were observed in 62 (28%) cows. Seropositivity was detected in 62.9% of a total of 62 dairy cows with various reproductive disorders. Taking all farms as a whole, the rate of cows with no reproductive disorders in which there was IBR/IPV seropositivity was only 5.7%. According to these results, a statistically significant difference was found in the number of cows in the IBR/IPV seropositive reproductive disordered and the non-disordered groups of cows.
