Özet

The color sensing is very important for agricultural applications. Because of this reason, in this paper effectiveness of some low-cost color sensors have been determined with using an expensive spectrometer. By this way, comparison of these low costs color sensors has been done. At the end of this comparison, calibration factors have been evaluated. This calibration factors showed the effectiveness of these low-cost color sensors. TCS3200, ColorPal 28380 and TCS34725 sensors have been selected for experiments. All of these sensors has its light source, and these are all LED lights sources. Color sensors are used in different industries and industrial applications. One of this industry is agriculture industry. These low-cost color sensors can be used in different applications in agriculture such as sensing for automation or sorting systems, color determination of developing plants, variety determination, etc. These applications show us the significance of low-cost color sensors at agricultural applications. For this aim different color measurements have been done for each color channel of color sensors at one color material surfaces and agricultural products. Average of these color values accepted as the main color value. Statistical evaluations of the measures have been presented in the results section of the research.
