Özet

Purpose. In comparison to cyclosporine (CsA), tacrolimus (Tac) seems to be more diabetogenic in renal transplant recipients, and post-transplant diabetes mellitus is more common in patients using Tac, especially during the first year after transplantation. However, at maintenance doses, there are no comparative data of insulin resistance (IR) in patients using Tac or CsA. The purpose of this study was to investigate the IR indexes in patients on maintenance doses of CsA or Tac.
