Özet

In goats, babesiosis can present as an acute, subacute or chronic disease. Only a limited number of studies regarding the serological diagnosis of B. ovis, one of the causative agents of babesiosis, is available in Turkey. This study was conducted with the aim of determining both the seropositivity and examination for blood smears for B.ovis. in the Ankara goats, a species, unique to the region.
