Abstract

In this study a 1.8GHz conformal microstrip antenna design is proposed. Conformal antenna and a planer version of the same antenna is compared and discussed. The proposed designs are evaluated via CST Microwave studio suite. Both antennas are evaluated in terms of scattering parameters, directivity, gain, efficiency, input impedance and far field patterns. The proposed conformal antenna achieved to operate at 1.8 GHz with a directivity value of 6.24dBi, a gain value of 5.46dB and an efficiency value of %89.
