Abstract

In this study, skin lesions were described as macroscopical, histopathological and electron microscopical findings in 2 year-old, 6 carp (Cyprinus carpio L.). In the tissue samples collected from focal grayish white skin lesions. epidermal hyperplasia. vacuolar degeneration and intracytoplasmic inclusion bodies were observed whilst, in electron microscopic examination intracytoplasmic virus particles were encountered. As a result, it was concluded that the macroscobic and microscobic findings were found to be related to pox disease.
