Objective: Being a rare disease, we aim to create an algorithm for management and treatment of multiseptate gall bladder. Material and Methods: "PubMed", "Clinical Key", "Science Direct" and "Google Academics" databases were searched for "multiseptate gall bladder" and "septate gall bladder" and all articles found were analyzed. The cases were separated by periods of 20 years per year of publications and the management plan was analyzed in regard with patients' sex, age group, complaint and sludge or calculous formation in the gall bladder. Results: There are 63 patient in the literature most of which are case reports. The disease has been found in 13 different countries most of which are in Turkey (n=16), USA (n=15) and Japan (n=11). It's documented from newborn to 84 years old (mean 29 years, median 26 years). The ratio of people those are operated due to multiseptate gall bladder tends to decrease by time. The cases those are under age 18 are operated less in number than age over 18 which is statistically significant (p<0,01). No malignancy was reported in cases operated. The patients those are followed up are free of symptoms. Conclusion: The disease itself doesn't have any age group, sex or race tendency. Ultrasonography should be the first diagnostic modality used in diagnosis. Because none of the patients either operated or followed up had malignancy due to multiseptate gall bladder even some patients get rid of their symptoms after cholecystectomy we suggest them to be followed up as much as possible.
