Abstract

Background: Hemodynamically significant patent ductus arteriosus (hsPDA) complicates the clinical course of preterm infants and contributes to increased morbidity and mortality. NT-proBNP is indicative of the effects of hsPDA on clinical and cardiac status of patients.
