Abstract

GAP (Good Agricultural Practice) and EUREPGAP (Euro Retailer Produce Working Group; Good Agriculture Practice) is mainly the part of HACCP; both are applied at whole world, including South-east Asia and Africa. Although GAP and also EUREPGAP is not directed to prevention of mycotoxin formation, the total food safety concept as from farm to table; wish to ensure mycotoxin free commodities. Code of practices (mainly Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Storage Practice) is more important under official approach. But practically, the differences between countries and geographical conditions GAP are discussed at field, farm and shed. In this paper, practical applications of EUREPGAP will be discussed.
