Özet

The crystal structure of the tetranuclear complex [Cu2Hg2Cl4(C18H18 N2O2)2] was investigated. The Cu-Hg-Hg-Cu chain in the molecular structure was obsereved to be non-linear. The change in magnetic susceptibility of the complex followed the Curie-Weiss law. Results showed that the coordination around the Hg11 ions was square pyramidal and the Cu-Hg bridging distance was determined to be 3.5269(7) Angstrom.
