Özet

The problem of the present study consists of the following questions: Do influence strategies used by school principals significantly differ according to the variables of personality type (A or B), age, gender and type of school as public or private? A total of 148 primary school principals in Ankara (103 state school principals, 45 private school principals) were given two scales. School principals use the following strategies at a very high level: friendliness, reason, coalition and bargaining. There is not a significant difference between Type A and Type B personality school principals according to the influence strategies used. (C) 2010 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
