Abstract

© 2015 Dilek Söylemez.Sequence of q -Bleimann, Butzer, and Hahn operators which is based on a continuously differentiable function τ on R +, with τ 0 = 0, inf τ ' x ≥ 1, has been considered. Uniform approximation by such a sequence has been studied and degree of approximation by the operators has been obtained. Moreover, shape preserving properties of the sequence of operators have been investigated.
