It is generally accepted that menopause occurs as a result of depletion of the follicular reserve however, the mechanism of menopause and factors that effect menopausal age haven't been lighted well. Several factors, which are supposed to have an effect on the timing of menopause, influence the rate of follicular reserve depletion. A number of environmental, genetic, menstrual and reproductive factors have been proposed to have an effect on menopausal age and reproductive life span. In this study we analyzed these parameters in Turkish population.
