© 2019 IEEE.This paper presents an electromagnetic metamaterial absorber for X-Band applications having an absorption value of around unity. The absorption value for the optimized structure is 0.98 around 12 GHz. The parametrical analyses are conducted and proposed and then the results are presented with accordance to Interference Theory. The absorption frequency tuned by changing the conductor width and by keeping the absorption around unity the frequency tuned from 9.97GHz to 12.16GHz.
