Özet

Numerical (PLS and PCR calibrations) and graphical (second derivative spectrophotometry) methods were improved for the simultaneous quantitative analysis of levamizole (LEV) and oxyclozanide (OXC) in bolus. These methods do not require any priory separation for the analysis of the above drugs. In the case of numerical methods, a concentration set consisting of LEV and OXC in the concentration range of 0.0-25.0 mu g/mL was randomly prepared and the absorbances of the concentration set were measured at the wavelength set with Delta lambda = 0.1 nm in the spectral region of 210-260 nm. PCR and PLS calibrations were constructed by using the relationships between the concentration set and its corresponding absorbance data. In the case of the second derivative spectrophotometry (DS), the calibration functions for LEV and OXC in the range of 5.0-25.0 mu g/mL were obtained by measuring the second derivative amplitudes at 263.6 and 294 nm, respectively. All the proposed methods were validated by using the independent synthetic mixtures and standard addition technique. Then, these analytical methods applied to the commercial veterinary sample and results were compared with each other. A good coincidence was observed for the obtained experimental results.
