Özet
The rapid growth of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) has created new opportunities and challenges for education. However, evidence on teachers' adoption of GenAI, particularly regarding creativity and ethics, remains limited. This study examined factors influencing in-service teachers' intention to use GenAI by extending the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) with creativity expectations and ethical concerns. Data were collected from 404 teachers in primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary schools in T & uuml;rkiye. The proposed model was tested using confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modelling with the DWLS estimator. Creativity expectations emerged as the strongest predictor of behavioural intention, followed by performance expectancy, facilitating conditions, and effort expectancy. Ethical concerns negatively influenced intention, whereas social influence was not significant. The findings emphasize the importance of professional development that strengthens teachers' creative use of GenAI while promoting ethical and responsible classroom implementation.
