Özet
Rapid advancements of technology and the limited frequency spectrum have increased necessity for high-selectivity bandpass filters. Various techniques have been reported in the literature to achieve high selectivity while maintaining compact size and fabrication simplicity. In this work, a quasi-elliptic hairpin bandpass filter operating in the 2.2-2.5 GHz frequency range is proposed. A defected microstrip structure (DMS) is integrated into the filter to enhance stopband characteristics, while the microstrip corners are optimized using mitered bends to improve overall filter performance. The proposed filter is simulated in CST Studio and achieves an insertion loss of -1.17 dB, a return loss of a -8 dB at specified bandwidth with a high roll-off of and a stopband attenuation of 42 dB.
