School psychological counseling and guidance services have an important role in preventing students’ problem behaviors. The aim of this study is to examine the effect of the Life Skills Psychoeducation Program(LSPP), which is applied to students who study at the 11th grade of the vocational and technical anatolian high school and have problem behaviors, on students’ life skills and problem behaviors. In the research, 2x4 split plot design with pre-test, post-test, followup-1 and follow-up-2 control groups were used. The LSPP was implemented as a preliminary session, eight psychoeducation sessions, eight workshop sessions and the final session. ANOVA test was used to make comparisons between groups and measurements in order to evaluate the effect of the LSPP on students’ life skills and problem behaviors. The LSPP increased the level of life skills and decreased the problem behaviours of the students in the experimental group. It was also realized that the impact of the program on the experimental group continued to be effective four and a half month later
