A Research on the Evaluation of Front Hard Point Part of Agricultural and Forestry Tractors

Özet

In this study, in order to determine the strength characteristics of front hard point of tractor's bonnet, two different loading conditions, which would be reference for OECD Codes, were planned and conducted. For this purpose, two NH TD 65 tractors were selected for the tests. At the end of the tests, test materials could resist against the simulated load, and it was seen that the front hard point of these tractors were found strong enough and the simulated ground bar was not enter the clearance zone. The applied loads were measured as 53 kN and 51.83 kN. These loads were two times more than the tractor mass that was considered as a reference load during the test.
