Özet

Objective: To increase our understanding of the etiology of idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) some cytokine gene polymorphisms were analyzed for susceptibility to the disease. The aim of this study was to investigate the role of tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) -308 C/A and transforming growth factor-beta 1 (TGF-beta 1) -915 G/C polymorphisms in the development and clinical progression of childhood ITP.
