In molecules of the title compound, C14H12ClNO2S, the phenylthio group and the remainder of the heavy-atom skeleton form two different planes which are nearly perpendicular to each other. The molecules are interlinked by O-H...O hydrogen bonds involving the phenolic OK group as donor and the acetamide O atom as acceptor.
