Abstract

In vitro mass proliferation was achieved from lower half of bulb scales and in vitro grown leaflet explants of meadow lily, Lilium candidum L. on MS medium containing 2.22 gMBAP and 2.69 mu M NAA. Rooting was achieved on MS medium containing 2.69 AM NAA. The plants were acclimatized in the growth chamber and then transferred to the greenhouse, where they flowered after two years.
