Abstract

With advancements in technology,studies have shown that artificial intelligence (AI)-based decision support systems enhance diagnostic accuracy in breast ultrasonography (US),reduce inter-observer variability,and prevent unnecessary biopsies. ([1][2][3][4]).Our objective in this study is to evaluate the diagnostic success of the AI-based decision support system,Koios DS,in US images of breast lesions and to compare its performance with that of an experienced radiologist.
This retrospective study included 67 different lesions from 41 patients who presented to our clinic for screening and follow-up between November 2023 and December 2023.The AI application Koios DS was utilized in our study
