Özet
CT images are used frequently in dentistry. Though in the majority of cases in the daily dental practice MDCT has been replaced by CBCT, there are many cases where CBCT is not enough to set the diagnosis and additional information or detail is required. In those cases MDCT is the initial imaging method of choice, since it provides the necessary details in the imaging of both soft tissues and osseous components of the facial skeleton. The addition of 3D imaging sections of both soft and bony tissues, make the chapter a useful tool to all radiologists and surgeons who use 3D tools in daily practice.
