Özet

Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) environments interfere with wireless networks due to extreme physical conditions, dense aerosol structures, and electromagnetic anomalies. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) rely heavily on radio-frequency (RF) infrastructure for high-risk and disaster management missions; however, CBRN-induced ionizing radiation and severe scattering jeopardize link reliability. This study systematically maps the literature regarding CBRN impacts on RF signal propagation and UAV communications. Utilizing international databases, a systematic search filtered relevant publications for thematic analysis within MAXQDA software. The findings reveal that while environmental signal degradation is widely noted, explicit CBRN propagation impacts are mostly addressed indirectly. By diagnosing these literature gaps and trends, this study establishes a vital conceptual framework and methodological foundation to support the development of resilient UAV communication architectures.
