This study aims to investigate the home visit observation forms that were filled by early childhood educators within the context of purpose of home visits. The study is a qualitative study in descriptive survey model. Data was obtained from the home visit observation forms that were filled out by 6 early childhood educators working in a public preschool within the body of Etimesgut District National Education Directorate of Ankara during the first semester of 2017-2018 academic year. “Home visit observation forms” regarding 78 home visits performed by educators were subjected to the content analysis. According to the results of the study, based on the “Family Support Training Guide Integrated with Preschool Education Program” prepared by Ministry of National Education Directorate General for Primary Education (MEB, 2013), teachers’ subjective judgments are in the forefront, content of analyzed forms and content specified by Family Support Training Guide Integrated with Preschool Education Program become different from each other, observations are structured in general, teachers pay attention quantitative findings and data instead of qualitative ones in their visits.
