Özet

This study aimed to determine whether there was a difference between physical education and sport teachers' technological pedagogical content knowledge competences according to various variables. In this study, in which quantitative and qualitative data were used together, sequential explanatory design from mixed method research design was used. The research group of the study consisted of 712 teachers in the quantitative part and 26 teachers in the qualitative part. Personal information form, Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge Competency Scale and structured interview form were used as data collection tools. The quantitative data obtained were analysed in Jamovi 2.0.0 programme. In the analysis of quantitative data, t-test, Mann Whitney U test, One Way ANOVA were used. The qualitative data obtained were analysed in MaxQda software. According to the quantitative data results of the study, statistically significant differences were found in gender, age, education level, institution type, access to technology, level of technology use, length of service and duty region in the sub-dimensions of TK, TCK, TPK and TPACK of physical education teachers (p<0.05). According to the qualitative data results, differences were found according to gender, age and length of service.
