Homothetic motions and surfaces with constant mean curvature in Lorentz 3-space

© 2017 Pushpa Publishing House, Allahabad, India.In this paper, we investigate the surfaces with constant mean curvature, whose generating curve is a graph of a polynomial or Lorentzian circle under homothetic motion groups. In the first case, we show that the degree of the polynomial is 0 or 1, that is the surfaces are ruled surfaces. In the second case, the surfaces generated by a Lorentzian circle under homothetic motion groups, cannot have constant or zero mean curvature.
