Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the role of fee radicals and to show the changes in the antioxidative metabolism of dogs with renal diseases. For this purpose, the plasma malonlydialdehyde levels, activities of the GSH-Px, SOD and CAT in hemolysates of the red cells, and serum and plasma levels of the beta -carotene and ascorbic acid were analysed to determine their relationships.
